History
WITCH ( N 153) was built in 1936 by Nunn Bros of Waldingfield to the design of Uffa Fox. WHICH was one of the most famous National Twelves. She won the first National Championship in 1936, and in so doing, the Sir William Burton Cup (she was then called ITCH). She had a long sailing career, mainly in the hands of Dr Robin Steavenson who became 'father' of the Class. Her last sail was in 1989 at Yorkshire Ouse S C. She was exhibited at the Dinghy Show in 2006 to mark the 70th Anniversary of the Class.. December 2008 GH
