History

The 30 sq. m. SUNA, was built in 1936 by Aberking and Rasmussen at Kiel, Germany, and originally named AGIR. She was seized after WW II as reparations and given originally to HMS PHEONICIA. ? She took part in the sail-past of HMY Britannia in Malta in ????. She was found in 1997 in poor condition, having spent many years out of the water, by J Knapp. At some stage a Lombardini 8 hp engine has been fitted to drive an offset propellor. SUNA is one of the few 'Windfall' yachts still sailing. November 2008
