History
Examined 06/09/11 GH in good condition on display provenance not established. Mast step on back of forward cockpit coaming not on foredeck. Some years ago this canoe was examined by canoe experts who assessed its D o B as 1880c overall dimensions agree with mine taken in 2011 and remarked on its large rectangular cockpit 49' X 18' (see image). No obvious no makers plate. Believed presented to the museum by W J Bewley. GH Jul 2013
