History
Built in 1910 to a design of Alfred Mylne by William Anderson of Millom, Cumberland. Originally named ETHILDA, she was owned by Charles Livingstone and sailed at the Royal Mersey Yacht Club. In 1912 she was moved to the West Cheshire Sailing Club and renamed RANZO. She was modified in the late 1940’s by the removal of the centreboard from the fin keel, and the fitting of Bermudan rig. Later a coach roof was fitted over the cockpit and an engine installed. The boat was acquired by the Merseyside Maritime Museum in 1982. January 2010
