History
Launch fitted with Kitchen rudder (also known as Kitchener Gear). This type of rudder was very popular prior to WW I and much used in US Navy. It is a bucket-like device allowing steered reverse. This vessel is one of few surviving examples. Awaiting details from Chatham Historic Dockyard. September 2008
