History
Built or, maybe, rebuilt in 1933 by W R Kerrison of Oulton Broads for E M Corbett of Lowestoft and fitted with a 1924 Brookes three cylinder petrol engine. It is believed the reason for fitting a 1924 engine was that it belonged to an original boat named PET that was involved in a collision and sank. The hull was raised and rebuilt and named PETAGIN (Petagain). In 1955 the vessel was left to Royal Norfolk and Suffolk Yacht Club as a rescue boat. Later owned on the Broads and the Medway. Acquired in 1971 by present owners, restored and fitted with Morris Vedette petrol engine. A steam plant was fitted in 1983. The boat has regularly been sailed on the Rivers Trent, Erwell and Sour.
