History
LUSTRE was built as one of a class of four at Hunter's Yard as part of Hunter's fleet of 'Hire Yachts' for use on the Broads. She is a 4 berth gunter-rigged 28ft wooden yacht with a spoon bow, transom stern, carvel planking, mahogany on oak frames and varnished hull. She has a lifting cabin roof, a counter-balanced mast mounted in a tabernacle and a small self-tacking jib. These boats were hired out with an 11ft sailing/rowing dinghy. LUSTRE was the first yacht to be built by the Hunters at Ludham. 28/02/2012 NRJ
