History
LES COUSINES. A small pretty, general purpose fishing and crabbing boat from Brittany, strongly built and with a powerful lugsail. The steeply cut away transom stern is typical of the boats of treacherous North-West France and is very typical of this part of France. The sail, a standing lug is powerful and very easy to lower in a hurry – a feature common to many small working boats.Stored in Eyemouth, Les Cousines is a small strongly built fishing and crabbing with a standing lug rig. Well suited for the rugged conditions on the Brittany coast. Good condition GH 28 Nov 16
