History
KITRA was the last Sterling Class yacht to be built. A Kim Holman design, she is a forerunner of the famous Twister class of cruiser/racer yacht. She was built by Uphams at Brixham, Devon in 1963 for Mr Wilf Tarr of Torbay who sold her in 1995 (when he was aged 80+). Some restoration work was carried out in 1996 but now in A 1 condition, KITRA continues to sail west country waters being located in Plymouth. October 2008
