History
JANE was possibly built in Peterhead around the middle of the 1930's as a workboat/lifeboat for a Peterhead motor-powered drifter. After twenty years she moved to Gardenstown before going to Johnshaven in the early 1960's. During her time there she was used for pleasure trips and creeling, both under oar and then a Seagull outboard engine. She was acquired by the Scottish Fisheries Museum in 1993. January 2010 (Archive)
