History
Built in 1910 by Kristian Johansen of Kriavik, Holmsbu, Norway. This boat is of a type still in use. It is a working ancestor of many small yachts' dinghies in Britain today and its influence may be seen in some large pram yachts in Friesland. This pram was used in the herring fishery in Oslo Fjord and, when fishing, she was occasionally under a small spritsail or lug. She was purchased by NMM from the Norsk Sjofartmuseum in 1971.
