History
GREYHOUND was built by Walter Duncan (Snr) about 1914 at Burra Isle, Shetland. She is a smaller version of LITTLE AUK (R 1732). Initially, she was used for taking baited lines off to the fishermen working from the island of Oxna which was nearer the Burra haaf fishing grounds. Later she had a 4 hp Stuart Turner petrol engine fitted for working lobster creels, and more recently she was used for pleasure. November 2009
