History
Designed and built by William Fife Jnr for Mr Robert Mann of Glasgow. Although only 17 ft on the waterline, FRICKA carried 470 sq ft of sail, offset by 1 ton of lead ballast in her keel. During her first season of racing she won seven first and eight second prizes out of twenty five starts. She was still racing in 1973 before being purchased by NMM in1974. Restored by Merseyside Maritime Museum before going on display at Falmouth in 2003. GH Oct 2013
