History

EDNA MAIR, together with an inflatable raft, was used by Dougal Robinson and his family when their yacht Lucette was sunk by killer whales in the Pacific Ocean. Together with another person, they survived for 38 days. The details of the hardships they suffered are told in the book Survive the Savage Sea. The dinghy, together with a number of artifacts, were kindly presented to NMMC by the Robertson family in 2006. February 2008
