History
Built in 1879 by Peters for use in the Isles of Scilly. On day of arrival in Scilly was used on two salvage missions. In 1927 CZAR was involved in the wreck of the Italian grain ship ISABO. It is claimed that she rescued the crew when the RNLI lifeboat ELSIE was incapacitated by a thick laler of grain floating on the surface of the water. She continues to be used in racing.
