History
CARN DHU was the first boat to be designed by Bevil Warington Smythe for his brother Nigel and was built at the Gilbert and Pascoe boatyard in Porthleven in 1927 as a 22ft gaff rigged cutter. Cruised extensively by the Warington Smythes. Her 1933 trip to the Baltic is written up in the RCC Journal (1933).
