History

Was built in 1955 for Ms Scott, the only lady owner of an Essex Yacht Club O D class at the time, and sailed on the Blackwater. ARABESQUE was one of the boats built to replace many of the original class that were sunk during the great gale which lashed the East Coast in 1946. She was acquired by Mr St J N Boyack and fully restored by him before being presented to NMM in 1981. October 2007
