Canoes of this type were introduced by Dr 'Rob Roy' McGregor, This particular canoe could be paddled and/or sailed by two people. It is fitted with a patent Radix folding centre board which when raised does not protrude above the keel into the well. The boat was presented to NMM by Lt.Col. Robert Wingfield.
