History

ULVA was built in 1989 by Burgoine at Kingston on Thames and was his most successful 1 Rater. With her almost triangular balance lug with a very short luff and a small jib, she was one of the fastest of her class for eight years. She has recently been restored. ULVA is the oldest surviving 1 Rater and her hull has been used as a mould for modern GRP versions. June 2010 (Picture courtesy of Classic Boat)
