History
One of the first pilot gigs built by Ralph Bird in the renaissance of gig racing in the 1980's. WILLIAM PETERS was built for the Roseland Gig Club, based in St Mawes, and was used by club members to row to Brittany and to Southern Ireland. She took part in several World Gig Championships in the Isles of Scilly. Now used mainly for training. May 2010 (Picture courtesy of Classic Boat)
