History
PING PONG is an OK class single-handed dinghy that was designed by Knud Olsen in Denmark in 1957. She was built in 1961 by Mr Patton, an amateur builder and successful sailor. He sailed the dinghy in 1963 in Olympic trials when it was thought that the class might be involved in the Tokyo Olympics of 1964. The boat was sold out of the Patton family in 1968. She was kindly donated to the National Maritime Museum Cornwall by the O K Dinghy British Class Association in 2008. February 2009
