History

THALIA (W08) was a Waveney one design built in 1946 for Cyril Richards, the owner of the shipyard that built her at 'the Ole Silk Mills off Lake Lothing', Lowestoft, Suffolk. In 1980, the previous owner, Mr Selwyn Watson, unfortunately died whilst in the boat. During the past 3 years the present owner has carried out extensive repairs and refurbishment. He is considering putting THALIA up for sale owing to ill-health. 01/03/2014 NRJ
