History
TIGER was built in 1963 by Parham's of Emsworth, her hull constructed of splined mahogany and varnished. It is believed that she had a couple of name changes before the 1980's when she became TIGER. Her current owner has had her twice, first acquiring her in 1988 in Chichester, from where she went to Combes Yard at Bosham for some restoration including a new cockpit and rudder. After a season in Poole she came to Saltash, on the Tamar, in Cornwall. In 1990 she was re-decked and re-engined, with a Yanmar 1GM replacing the original Stuart Turner inboard engine. She cruised the Channel Islands and went to Brest 92, but was sold in 1993 (due to marriage, a baby and too many boats) and spent 13 years in Christchurch and then Lymington, where she was professionally maintained and her photo appeared in Classic Boat for Jan 2002. In 2006 her current owner was invited to take her back and she returned to Saltash. She cruises locally and attends local Classic Boat Rallies, winning trophies in Plymouth Classics (c.2010, 2013) and Fowey Classics 2013. Owner GH Jan 2014
