History
The Enterprise Class was commissioned by the News Chronicle newspaper as a ‘peoples boat’, and designed and built by Jack Holt. SPEEDWELL (# 2) and ENTERPRISE (#1) were raced across the English Channel at night by Bobbie Pegna and Bruce Banks to publicise the design and its ability. The boat was owned by Mrs Cilla Karmel from new and presented by her to NMM in 1988. October 2007
