History

PANDORA, is a Venturer runabout, built from a Percy Blandford kit by Mr R Sewter of Three Bridges, Sussex in the mid 1950’s. She was completed in 1958 and used extensively on the south coast for family outings. There is a plaque on the dash, which states the builders and owners name and address, placed there by the owner and builder. Pandora was collected as a tired, but very well built and well loved boat, from the very same address on the 18th May 2012. Since then she has been lovingly restored. Owner Feb 2013 The Venturer was a very popular Percy Blandford design and in 1965 over 500 sets of Venturer plans were sold. GH Feb 2013
