History
CAPRICCIO was built in 1912 by Gordon Sidons of Sidons Bros, apparently for his own use, at Fishbourne, Isle of Wight. She first appeared in Lloyds Registerbof Yachts in 1938 under the name WENDY. She was renamed CAPRICCIO in 1990. Originally, she had no engine but was fitted with a 2cylinder petrol engine in 1929 (Lloyds) and later a single cylinder Volvo Penta MD5A diesel. After 1924 she had a series of owners until purchased by her present owner in1995. She appears (page 27) in 'East Coast Rivers' by Jack H Coote 1996. June 2011
