History
MISS SINGER III was designed by Eric See and built by his father, Percy, at his boatyard at Fareham, Hants.. It was later re-named MISS LINCOLN.. The boat came about through collaboration between the Sees and William Bullock, the managing director of the Singer car company. The design featured a reverse clinker construction and followed a 4.3m (14ft) Cadet version. It was called the Singer Commodore and was powered by a Singer Le Mans 1493cc engine (65hp), giving it a maximum speed of 35 mph - see article in Classic Boat 2009 June page 47. December 2010
