History
The builder of TAMMYNORIE, Ian Richardson, took her design from a Shetland boat called SANDERLING which was built in Lerwick by Jimmy Smith in 1948. She was an attempt to turn a traditional design into something that was usable as a recreational leisure boat, and was sailed out of Cellardyke and Anstruther harbours before being given to the Museum in 1996.
