History

This vessel was built at some time in the 1900's and was retrieved from the mud at Hay's Dock at Lerwick, Shetland, in 1979. She was moved down to Anstruther on board the Zulu drifter RESEARCH, having been used for in-shore fishing with lines and creels off Shetland. It is speculated that she may also have been used as a lifeboat on a small motor-powered drifter. Although no photograph is currently available, her lines drawing are reproduced from those taken by Alastair Walker. January 2010 (Archive)
