History
Although not an Admiralty- pattern craft, it was felt by the Portsmouth Naval Base Property Trust that this boat should be added to their collection because it is a traditional design built by an old Portsmouth builder, Harry Feltham, in 1960. Many dozens of these craft could be seen on Southsea Beach, often covered by a small wooden shed, and they were used by fishermen operating close inshore off the beach. December 2009 (Archive)
