History
This vessel is believed to have been built during the mid 1940's. It served as a life-saving boat on Admiralty Floating Dock at Portsmouth and later transferred to the Shipwright Apprentices Training Centre as a demonstration aid to boat-building. It was transferred to the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard Society in 1992 and to the Portsmouth Naval Base Prperty Trust in 1998. It is planned to refurbish the boat as an example of a WWII Admiralty Pattern Trawler Boat. December 2009 (Archive)
