History
ROBINETTA was the first yacht designed by Denys Rayner, founder of Westerly. She was built of pitch pine and oak at Rock Ferry, Birkenhead. Rayner sailed her to the Clyde via the Isle of Man and cruised on her in Scotland for two seasons. He wrote of his adventures in The Yachting Monthly and the Royal Cruising Club journal. She spent the war laid up in Beaumaris and was then sold and brought to Weymouth for a couple of years before moving to the East Coast where she has been sailing ever since. GH Aug 2011
Maurice Griffiths called her a Saucy Little Tub and so she is.
