History

BULLFINCH was built by J W Brooke & Co at Lowestoft in 1929 and powered with a Brooke built 10hp petrol engine.. She is typical of the launches developed for the Norfolk Broads and as ships' tenders. She was designed to appeal to the marine motorist, having a foot throttle, car-type dashboard and a steering wheel. BULLFINCH was fully restored to the original specification by Brooke's in 1991.
