JEAN was built by Davy Davidson in 1915 at Baltasound, Shetland. Davidson was a well known joiner who built a few boats. Described as a whillie or eela, JEAN rowed and sailed well and was used for pleasure fishing and fun racing. During her life she has needed extensive repair. Novembe 2009
