History
This yacht was designed and built by the Bergius brothers( Willaim & Walter) in the maid's bedroom of their home (Elliot House, Cranworth Street, Hillhead, Glasgow) over the winter of 1895-1896. This was the first of four DODO boats. Walter was the founder of the Kelvin Engine Company.
Was on display in Neptune Hall Greenwich but returned to Irvine recently GH Feb 2013
