History
This prototype rowing catamaran won second prize in the Concept Boat competition held in 2002 and organized by the British Marine Federation. The craft's rowing position is located between the twin hulls but unlike racing shells with their sliding seats, RO-CAT has a fixed seat and it is one's feet that slide. It is fitted with outriggers that swing. The catamaran form provides stability and the vessel is capable of being rowed at sea. February 2009
