History
Built by R & W Clark at East Cowes in 1962 for Don Shead as an offshore powerboat with a cold moulded wooden hull and a unique triple sterndrive installation. TRIDENT driven by Don Shead and powered by twin 110bhp Volvos took 7th place in the 1963 Cowes Torquay race. Rebuilt she raced as OH LOR! In Class II until 1976. On display for many years at the former Basildon MBM she was removed by her owner in 2010 and is now understood to be under restoration. The image shows her as displayed at Basildon. GH June 2013
