History
This electric launch is believed to have been built by Abdela and Mitchell Ltd. Of Brimscombe about 1924. PRINCESS MARINA was originally used by the Thames Conservancy on the upper reaches of the river but in the mid-thirties she joined the tripping fleet on the River Avon at Stratford-on-Avon. In 1983 she was sold in very poor condition to the present owner who carried out a substantial rebuild and installation of a new Nelco 2 kw electric motor. She was surveyed and re-launched in 1994.
