Designed and built by Truscott Boat MFG. Co of St Joseoph, Michigan, USA in 1903/04 and imported into UK by Burnham Motor Company. CHERIPKA or Z was owned by Mr Shave until 1906 but then her history is unknown until 1970’s when found by Mr J Patson on the Blackwater or at Woodbridge. She was then refurbished, a steam engine fitted and put into storage for 25 to 30 years. Purchased by present owner in 2006, with the intention of restoring and fitting original petrol engine. A 1902 Americam Lozier two stroke marine engine has been obtained and is now being rebuilt. GH May 2012
