History
This Belouga class yacht was one of some twenty built by Itchenor Shipyard in the late 1940's. It is an example of a vessel conceived by the French Olympic yachtsman, Jacques Lebrun and designed by Eugene Cornu in France in 1943. As a lightweight racer/cruiser the class became popular on the inland lakes of Europe and in Chichester harbour. SAROMA is currently sailing in the Falmouth area. November 2007 (Archive)
