History
Fairey Huntresses were a successful class of fast seaworthy boats which regularly took part in the Cowes Torquay races. Bought in some numbers by the Royal Navy as senior officer's barges. The Fairy Huntress was produced fom 1959 to 1970. This particular example is similar to the boat used in Bond film From Russia with Love. The engine of this craft has been removed and the craft is believed to have come from a batch used by the RN. Jun 2013 GH
