History
Built by H & W Bryant in 1928 for Mr H Tusting as a hydroplane powered by an Evinrude speed twin outboard. IAN II raced in the first Duchess of York Trophy race in 1928 and her last race was in 1936 off Felixstowe when she capsized. Hung in a barn for 60 years her hull was finally restored in 1994. Her original engine was destroyed in a fire in WWII. Was photographed and measured at Museum. Collection has since been dispersed and location of vessel is now unknown. January 2010
